The Batz Island is a remarkable and fragile natural space. To preserve it, please respect some basic rules:

  • the littoral path (SPPL) is a pedestrian only way and forbidden to bicycles
  • the dune area is fragile : use only the existing paths and access roads to the beaches
  • the blue thistle and marine cabbage are protected species; picking them is forbidden
  • along the shores, put the rocks back in their place if you move them and respect the sizes of the shellfish, crustaceans and fish you are allowed to catch
  • do not leave your waste anywhere (even your fag ends!)

Respect the farm paths and do not encroach on the cultivations. Walkers and cyclists accept personal liability when they use these paths.
